There is a misunderstanding / quiproquo

The application CAN be launched in any case, calling it without defining
BOUML_ID the user will have the message and will understand and know he has to
define the environment variable. Please reread my respons #41

These applications are *graphical*, I can't imagine they can't be called through
a menu or using an icon (even it is possible to start them through a shell), it
is not g++

Frankly you are fixed on a non-problem, but *you* decide for *your* distribution ;-)
