- No, this does not answer my question. I am not asking how
  this program is used, but how *libmapnik.so* is used.
  I am asking if
  * this library is linked from other applications
  * or this library is dlopened
  * or this library is never used from other applications

- If the software itself is a development tool, it may contain
  header files etc.. by default.
