I installed the xgl server, libxkbgui and xgl-settings from the location in
comment #31 but I can't get it to work with the current compiz in FC6. I've got
an ATI 200M with 8.34 drivers. The error is:

[user at localhost ]$ compiz --replace
compiz: GLX_SGIX_fbconfig is missing
compiz: Failed to manage screen: 0
compiz: No manageable screens found on display :0.0

but glxinfo |grep GLX_SGIX_fbconfig shows it is there.

Any help very welcome.
