After much study of this I have come to the conclusion, that it indeed is a bad
idea to try an make a generic toolchain. So now we've been working on a toochain
specific for the gp2x handheld console (arm linux glibc inside) as that is what
I have and want to develop for.

Here is a new version of arm-gp2x-linux-binutils for review:
