I didn't look at this yet, however

* Keep timestamp
  - When you use "cp" or "install", add "-p" option to keep timestamp
* Parallel make
  - Support parallel make when possible, otherwise write a comment
    in the spec file
    which shows that the Makefile does not support parallel make
* Permission
  - Please explain why you chose the permission "0444", not "0644".
* Defattr
  - We now recommend "%defattr(-.root.root,-)"
* rebuild
  - mock build fails at least on ppc
