[Blargh, I need to get my fedorabugs access set up so I can close this myself.
:] Given the Fedora policy, and the impossibility of complying with it just yet,
it seems like this bug should be closed for now. And it's clear that there's
more communication that needs to happen in general about the purpose behind and
implementation of the modules, before they go upstream (thanks for the pointer
to kernel-mentors, Dave).

(Can anyone suggest a preferred "fringe" repository to try getting this package
into in the meantime, so that users that really want the modules can get them?
ATrpms/DAG/Dries/FreshRPMS/NewRPMS/Livna?)
