I think it is reasonable to switch to libffi.  It use to be that libffi was not
well supported on some platforms and missing functionality, but I think it has
caught up.  Especially if GNUstep is now recommending a version that works, we
should go with that.  Think you can use the --enable-libffi and
--disable-ffcall flags to configure to force usage, but it seems GNUstep should
automatically pick libffi first if it finds it.
