Yanko: you don't need to call ldconfig; you're not installing a library, just a
shared object.

rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/%{myplugdir}/*.{a,la}
Why do you call a recursive rm here?
Isn't it possible to avoid build of the static library by passing
--disable-static to configure?
