What's the purpose of the no.example patch?

Otherwise it's starting to look quite good. You shouldn't include INSTALL in
%doc, however, since it probably contains just instructions for installing from
source.

Also, use
 make install DESTDIR=$RPM_BUILD_ROOT INSTALL="install -p"
to preserve time stamps in install.
