To be more precise, util/b_ff.c includes "mwc.h" that redefines free() and that
is the instance of free() that crashes. When you use the free() available from
glibc, freeing of memory works.

I will disable the b_get_ff_searchpath() in those dgc tools that use it, as it
simply prints the search path, which is not required or used since we are
packaging it.
