Well, if (and ONLY if) all the apps using tracker can be fixed to work with the
new version, the ABI change could go in, possibly as a post-release update. But
as this does not seem the case at this time, unless and until this is fixed, it
is NOT possible to upgrade tracker without introducing a compat package.
