Hi,
Some further explanation : 
I added 2 patches : 
  - vxl_ply which corrects a compilation problem because the ply functions have
less arguments than before.
  - install_vpgl to install the corresponding library because some contrib
library was relying on it. 

I moved some stuff in the specfile. I thought the .so were supposed to go in
the default package, but I now know I'm wrong. Btw if you why, I'd like to
know...

The x64 version does not build yet, rpmbuild returns :
error: Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found:
   /usr/lib6464/libvpgl.so
line 6 of my install_vpgl patch should be 
+INSTALL_TARGETS(/lib vpgl)

I'm building agian to correct these problems.
