How are they going to fix this? Will they change from Library to Lesser to
plain GPL?

This is probably ok then. Have you considered mentioning this in the spec or
opening a bug about it once the package is imported to make sure this is not
forgotten e.g. in case it is merged in gstreamer but still shipped with
gupnp-dlna?
