Sorry, I don't know about the clean stuff.  I think Mylyn (eclipse-mylyn) may
do something similar to what you want to do with building multiple
inter-dependent features.  The CDT's .spec (eclipse-cdt) also builds multiple
inter-dependent features by jamming the output of one into the other.
