The people behind DCMTK are currently in the process of releasing the next
version (3.6.0 -- see
http://support.dcmtk.org/wiki/dcmtk/notes/releaseplan360). I believe a snapshot
of that is what you are seeing at commontk. At this point (since this has taken
so long already), it might be just as well to wait for that release.
