First, update to gstreamer-plugins-good-0.10.17-4 (will fix some problems with
complicated pipelines).

I would also advise to install the non-free plugins (-bad, -ugly) and try
again. The pipeline didn't link properly, most likely because of missing
elements for conversion between types.
