Yes, it is a very good idea to become involved in the whole review process and
help each other out.  You probably don't want to actually build packages
directly on your system however.  Either install mock and use that to build
locally, or do scratch builds in the Fedora buildsystem (koji).  Anyone with a
Fedora account can use the buildsystem.
