Some more information about surf: it was written in 1992 (so it's way older
than surf-the-web-browser) and while it is open source, the licence has a
non-commercial clause, so it won't end up in Fedora unless the authors
relicense it. However, this doesn't stop anyone from packaging it for rpmfusion
or some other repository. Also surf is used by VMD, which is a popular and
actively developed molecular dynamics software.
