I can review this if Stefan is too busy.

BTW, I'm not able to use the app in F-12 with Remotux: even if I disabled the
firewall it seems I'm not able to discover my laptop.
rinputd --verbose does not show anything other than 

Listening on port 8771
Avahi service _rinput._tcp with name 'bingo Remote Input' established

any idea?
