Looks like you were right that it is a gstreamer problem.  I get the same
output in terminal when running gst-launch-0.10.

Also, removing gstreamer-schroedinger and removing the .songbird2 caused
songbird to launch, with a few gdk warnings output in terminal.

May I suggest, for now, having gstreamer-schroedinger in Conflicts in the spec?
