Hi Mario.

Sorry for the extremely slow response.

I took most of your suggestions and added them to the SPEC file.

A couple things.
1) I left the generated libraries in /usr/lib, it looks like one of your
additions was trying to move them into /usr/lib/dcmtk. Any particular reason to
do this?

2) Regarding your suggestions #13-15, I didn't understand what you were trying
to accomplish with these changes.

Regarding getting proper sonames for the libraries... not sure how to do that
easily. DCMTK doesn't use libtool, so they're not autogenerated. Converting
DCMTK to libtool would be a major undertaking. It it valid to just use some
shell scripting to rename the current library.so files to library.so.3.5.4 and
generate the appropriate symbolic links?

Also, should the libraries be stripped... and if so, how does one generate the
correct information to make a relevant dcmtk-libs-debuginfo rpm?

Andy
