so far it looks like getting libva 1.x to fly with psb is a no-go, which kind
of leaves us in an awkward position - honestly I packaged libva for the purpose
of working with psb and I'm not that interested in packaging 1.x if it won't
work with psb.

We could have two packages, I guess: libva and libva-sds or something like
that. If all you need the upstream version for is to test external packages
against, we could build Fedora / Fusion packages against the sds libva, and
that would probably make everyone happyish?
