At this point I have no interest in restarting the process. POTI has
specifically said they will not remove the EULA, which is a major blocker, plus
the xulrunner, taglib, gstreamer, etc etc, internal deps that are a major
problem. I spent a ton of time on each release trying to get a stable build and
there were always issue due to the different range of system deps versus
internal deps. For all intents and purposes they *have* stopped Linux
development. Source is still being release, but there is no attempt at fixing
the numerous bugs and problems. It is what it is, and that is not a very solid
Linux product at the moment. Plus my contact at POTI who was involved in the
*NIX aspects has also left. So, I really don't see the point in spending time
trying to maintain this package. For stability and an sanity I highly recommend
someone build a nice binary blob using all internal deps and offer it up as a
third party package to anyone who wants it.
