couple of things

%setup should be 
%setup -q -n gearman-%{version}

without doing all the mv stuff 

build failed for me on f15 

+ install -m 644 package.xml
/builddir/build/BUILDROOT/php-pecl-gearman-0.7.0-3.fc15.x86_64/usr/share/pear/.pkgxml/php-pecl-gearman.xml
install: cannot stat `package.xml': No such file or directory
