Gazebo 1.0.0-RC1 has been released at gazebosim.org.  It looks like the 1.0
release doesn't have any dependencies on bullet or assimp at the moment.  It's
not too hard to get to build, I've attached a patch that covers all of the
stuff that needed to be changed for f16.  The library install directories need
to be fixed again.
