JFTR, Berto (debian package maintainer for frogr) just told me now that it's a
problem with the timestamp of some files. Using the published tarball should
fix the issue, but that's not possible since some patches must be applied
anyway so I agree waiting for frogr 0.6 is the best way to go. 

After all, the new release of frogr should happen anytime soon (August?), so no
need to rush things, IMHO
