Thanks, but does the plugin work for you? I tried it and it didn't and as long
as it does not work, it shouldn't be in the repo.

I don't disagree, but we were told so by the kernel and power management
people.

The indented lines look strange, better use * as bullets or markdown (will give
you proper bullet points in packagekit)
