You don't need the following anymore:

BuildRoot:      %{_tmppath}/%{name}-%{version}-%{release}-root-%(%{__id_u} -n)
%clean
rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT
%defattr(-,root,root,-)

Groups is optional and can be remove as well.  License is GPLv2+ and not GPLv2.
 Read the license header in the source files for confirmation.  You can omit
the license information in the description. 

Follow the packaging guidelines for Sourceforge url.  Use name and version
macros.
