strace of the process

Description of problem:
Invoking perl with Event::Lib segfaults. Same thing if I use Event::Lib from 
inside a script. 

# perl -MEvent::Lib
Segmentation fault

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
perl-Event-Lib-1.03-18.fc18.x86_64
perl-5.16.3-242.fc18.x86_64
libevent-2.0.18-2.fc18.x86_64


How reproducible:
Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch 
  perl -MEvent::Lib


Actual results:
# perl -MEvent::Lib
Segmentation fault


Expected results:
Working perl with Event::Lib
