If you're capable of setting up the above on Fedora on i386, doing it on
PPC will be fine.

Depends on the laptop. The Airport will work; the Airport Extreme will
not. The internal Bluetooth works fine, although of course it's limited
to 1Mb/s. When I need more bandwidth than that, I use a CardBus 802.11g
card.

There are some binary-only drivers for the Conexant modem, I believe. I
haven't investigated. Again, Bluetooth just works -- I use it from the
PowerBook with both GSM and real modems.
