800mhz G3 ibook using UDMA33 hdd speeds?

Kernel is picking up my IDE interface at UDMA33 and forcing my hdd into
udma2 mode according to hdparm.  Is this the right speed?  Seems really
slow, shouldn't it at least be UDMA66 ?
