The Power 6 system is supported on Fedora 20. I'm not sure if a full list
of supported systems exist. On a Power 6 system the underlying firmware
will
only allow qemu/kvm to run by software emulation. So if you want to run
qemu/kvm
it can be done but it would be slow.

You could do your virtualization using lpars but if you wanted to share
devices
(vios) you would need to run the VIOS (aix) in one partition and then set
up
any others you would like to run.

If you want to run qemu/kvm in a non-emulated environment you would need to
have a Power 8 or an openPOWER system.
