 What about a different visual representation? The first thing that comes
 to mind is to do a stiped red and green for pending stable. Do you think
 that would be obvious enough?

 I think there's utility in having a difference between testing and
 pending-stable but yeah, there's definitely a difference between stable
 and pending-stable.
