 plymouth-0.6.0-0.2008.10.30.4.fc10 has a fix to allow setting the plymouth
 plugin via an environmental variable so that we can make live images a
 little bit more consistent on the XO wrt other platforms.

 (mkinitrd build to take advantage of this will be coming later, but I've
 tested in isolation)
