 This is a seriously leaf type of package that had a version bump week
 after beta freeze. By "seriously leaf" I mean[[BR]]
 - Nothing in the distro depends on it and its well outside the critical
 path.[[BR]]
 - No scripts or triggers.[[BR]]
 - No significant changes to package contents (binary names, permissions,
 ownership, adding or deleting stuff in system-wide important locations
 that wasn't/was there before)[[BR]]

 Tangent: All these criteria seem to be auto-testable. Perhaps rel-eng
 should consider auto-promotion from candidate to dist/stable/updates for
 these specific types of packages.  There is a risk of impact on out of
 tree users or on unaccounted for in-distro deps, but no more than with the
 usual update path with which such updates are currenly handled. It seems
 like a reasonable place to put some more trust in the developers
 judgement.
