 mod_fcgid has been donated to apache.org and this is the first non-beta
 release from the new upstream. It's basically the same codebase but with
 lots of bug fixes and a few extra features.

 I'm using it in production with no issues so far.

 The only note of caution is that the configuration directives have all
 changed names to suit the new upstream's naming conventions. This will
 affect anybody upgrading from older versions that has made changes to
 /etc/httpd/conf.d/fcgid.conf (changes here are not necessary in many
 applications), so I'm not intending to update F-11 and earlier releases.
 There is a fixconf.sed script included in the new package that can be used
 to update the configuration file to use the new directives if required. If
 this tag request is accepted, I'll get something added to the release
 notes to this effect.
