 This is an upstream maintenance release:

  * Fixed regression causing command-line define options not to work
 (http://bugs.proftpd.org/3221)
  * Fixed improper SSL/TLS certificate subjectAltName verification
 (http://bugs.proftpd.org/3275)
  * Use correct cached user values with `SQLNegativeCache on`
 (http://bugs.proftpd.org/3282)
  * Fix slower transfers of multiple small files
 (http://bugs.proftpd.org/3284)
  * Support `MaxTransfersPerHost`, `MaxTransfersPerUser` properly
 (http://bugs.proftpd.org/3287)
  * Handle symlinks to directories with trailing slashes properly
 (http://bugs.proftpd.org/3297)

 The existing F-12 proftpd package includes the upstream patch for
 http://bugs.proftpd.org/3221 but none of the other issues.

 I am using builds from this SRPM on F-11 and EL-5 in production.
