 Hi,

 please tag sane-backends-1.0.20-10.fc12 for f12-final as it contains the
 udev rules which are necessary so that normal users can use USB scanners:

 Except for the tool which generates the udev rules (which isn't shipped in
 the final package), no code has been changed, so the risk of inclusion is
 minimal.

 Without these udev rules, scanning from USB devices will only be possible
 as the root user, rendering the package near useless for non-technical
 users.

 People subscribed to the bug report have tested the package didn't report
 ill effects and confirmed that they can use their scanners as normal users
 now.
