 I've orphaned this in F15. I'm also not happy on carrying on with HAL in
 f16; HAL is a huge system daemon with all manner of things going on as
 root. It's not the kind of package you can just "maintain" by re-packaging
 up a tarball every few months. I would go as far to say that HAL will be a
 security problem some time in the future. A lot of the code is hugely
 legacy and just plain _scary_.
