So, for anyone who's been living under a rock for the last week or two,
we're going to need an RC2 :)
Here is the package list for RC2 compose:
Blocker
-------
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/grub-0.97-77.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libreport-2.0.5.980-1.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/firstboot-16.4-1.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kernel-3.1.0-0.rc6.git0.3.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/anaconda-16.19-1.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/lorax-16.4.4-1.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2011-12385
* http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=264950 (this one
is special: we need to pull gdm-3.1.92 without any of the rest of the
GNOME 3.1.92 update)
NTH
------
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libreport-2.0.5.980-1.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/lldpad-0.9.43-3.fc16
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/dnsmasq-2.58-2.fc16
There is an updated systemd build that would be an NTH candidate, but it
prevented live images booting in a VM for me. Worked okay on bare metal.
Also everything that's been pushed stable so far: including
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/digikam-2.0.0-4.fc16 , which
apparently had trouble being pushed, so be careful with it. Make sure to
use the listed version of lorax in building the images (and all the other
relevant packages recently pushed stable - like fedora-logos and livecd-
tools).
Please wait for tflink to give the okay on anaconda testing before you go
ahead and do the compose: I have tested it, but we wanted to get his
results too before going ahead. He will ping dgilmore and/or nirik in
#fedora-releng when he's ready.
