 I've added the timeout option a few days ago as suggested in similar cases
 on the internet, but it didn't help at all.
 Then I've noticed that rsync started acting up after the last big update
 in january and installed a newer rsync package which fixed the issue. I'd
 guess that rsync from RHEL-6.4 will work and the one from RHEL-6.5 is
 broken.
