 I just follow the instructions here:

 that say:

 "Request that Release Engineering team unblock the package for the current
 release, via their trac instance. In this request, please post a link to
 the completed re-review"

 In this context, it seems that "for the current release" is not correct.
 It's difficult to achieve something if the instructions to do it are not
 correct.
