 Hi.  I know I'm coming in late to this discussion, but I would like to ask
 a question.  This ticket indicates that the standard methods for pushing
 an update are too slow.  Could someone detail the steps in that process
 and how long they take?  I am interested to see if the standard process
 could be improved instead of creating a new one.
