Hi Michael,
this is caused by the fact that we unbundled the bigdecimal gem from ruby-libs and it now ships as a separate gem. If you need to use it, you have to add it to your Gemfile and install it via yum as any other Gem. Ruby developers will probably be gemifying the standard library in next releases [1] and this is the first step.
