kde-plasma-stasks hasn't seen any upstream activity in the last 11 months while a fork of it (kde-plasma-smooth-tasks) is being actively developed. As stasks doesn't even build against a current KDE SC, it is being retired. kde-plasma-smooth-tasks obsoletes it.
