This response isn't terribly helpful. There are changes coming. At the
absolute minimum, we've been making good headway at agreeing on how to
integrate roles and services better so that they are easier to use and
demonstrate more obvious value.

We intend for them to do just that. A big part of this effort is
building up the guidelines they would need to follow in order to
understand what they need to do to get there. It's also setting the
constraints on what users see (i.e. by default they may be restricted
to seeing only those server roles that we have vetted).

I don't think we need to completely block off our users' ability to do
the things they do today, but we add value for them if we can provide
a set of featured options that work well with less chance of it
breaking on them.

Could you describe in detail what you think it's "trying to be" vs.
"is"? I suspect you may just have a different understanding of those
two terms than we do.
