+1 for postgres :-)

(and now you probably guess which is the db I hate due to data
losses :-)

Yes, I think it is fundamental for a role like this to enable backups,
if not by default as a very simple role configuration operation.

I do this for my postgres sql database and every time I need to redo it
I have forgotten everything and have to go back to learn how to
correctly run the dump command to get all the needed data.

ATM I also play with storing the dumps in git, for easy rollback :-P
