Hello,

My name is Brandon Vincent and I'm a system administrator who has a
immense passion for open source software and the free software
movement. While I'm mostly a GNU/Linux and BSD user, I also have a
good deal of experience with commercial UNIX systems.

My areas of expertise and research interests include security,
cryptography, and system hardening. I am presently a member of the
Fedora Security Team, where I work jointly with packagers and upstream
developers to ensure that security fixes reach Fedora packagers in a
timely manner.

In my opinion, the Fedora Project is one of the only GNU/Linux
distributions that provides an stable and reliable platform that can
be easily utilized to satisfy a wide variety of applications, from
individual workstations to large data centers. I'm sure many of the
SIGs have made this possible.

I'd love to become more involved with the Fedora Project. I have a lot
of free time on my hands which I would like to contribute to an
project and philosophy I care greatly about.

So without being too egotistical, I would like to self-nominate myself
for the open vacancy in the Fedora Server Working Group.

If anyone has any questions for me, or would like to start a
conversation about security or free software, my FAS/IRC username is
bvincent.

Brandon Vincent
