Unable to get in contact with mentors for web hosting control panel idea

Hi,

I'm Francesco and I'm very interested to take part in this Summer of 
Code with Fedora. The idea of a free and open source web hosting control 
panel is very interesting to me, since I've started my own web hosting 
company an year ago. I currently use CentOS and DirectAdmin and I've 
acquired a good knowledge about useful software and about how a web 
hosting control panel should behave.

Since it's the third year consecutively that I see this idea for Fedora 
GSoC, I've tried to contact both mentors (Luis Bazàn and Eduardo 
Echeverrìa) in order to know about the current development stage for 
this project. Was it started during previous years? What has been 
already achieved?

Unfortunately, none of them have replied to my emails yet. I see on 
their pages that they both are present on freenode. Is there any 
specific channel where I can try to contact them to talk about this 
specific topic? Since it doesn't seem appropriate to me to bother them 
(and other users) on channels with different topics.

In the case that they are not available, may I post my application and 
hope for someone else to review it?
