logistics related to moving up to the 2.6.0-test kernel

I've just checked /proc and can only find /proc/ksyms - is kallsyms
supposed to be generated when the kernel is compiled or should I be
setting a flag in the kernel .config file so that it gets generated when
I compile the kernel up?
